Galatasaray




Turkish word Galatasaray consist of "Galata" and "saray". Galata is a place with invincible tower and bridge in the past. Saray means palace. In 1453, Galata tower and bridge - were belong to Byzantine Empire, conquered by Sultan Mahmud II of Ottoman after fifty-seven days Siege of Constantinople. #LostIslamicHistory
